Jaqueline Corstjens

My name is Jacqueline Corstjens, and I’m proudly Belgian, where fries are a national treasure and choosing a beer can take longer than drinking it. And yes, surprise, surprise, I’m still happily living there! In my free time, I love staying active by playing volleyball and padel, and I also enjoy going for a swim. When I’m looking to recharge, you’ll usually find me with a good book or taking a walk in nature. My favorite way to spend an evening, though, is sharing good food and drinks with friends or relaxing in the garden with great music.

At Stichting Grotius, I am excited to contribute as a volunteer and be part of such an inspiring family. After my very first introduction to Grotius during the Leadership Course, I immediately knew: this is where I want to be. What really drew me in was the organization’s dedication to inspiring people to become better leaders by sharing ideas, experiences, and timeless principles of good leadership. But just as importantly, I quickly discovered that the people behind Grotius are genuinely kind, fun, and have a great sense of humor, which made joining an even easier decision. It’s a place where people truly invest in each other’s growth, and I’m grateful to be part of it.

Looking ahead, I hope to continue growing both personally and professionally while making a positive contribution to those around me. I believe the best leaders never stop learning, and I hope to keep challenging myself, learning from others, and making a meaningful impact wherever I can.
