All board members serve without remuneration. Reasonable expenses are reimbursed against receipts in accordance with our expense policy.
Remuneration policy
Trustees receive no compensation for their service to the board. Operations staff are paid at fair-market rates for part-time public-sector or academic roles, set annually by the board. No member of staff receives remuneration in excess of the salary norms applicable to a Dutch public-sector director.
Policy plan, in outline
The four-year policy plan is built around three commitments: (i) running and steadily growing the GLI programme line; (ii) building the vRLI institute to a state where it can launch its first cohort; and (iii) sustaining the foundation's flagship iPLC conference as a public point of contact. Funds are stewarded toward those three lines, in that order. The plan itself is to be published.
