An Encounter
Three days, twelve participants, four mentors. Venue, board, books, travel. Named at the course and in the year's report.
Sponsorship at Stichting Grotius is named, finite, and tied to a specific piece of formation. You sponsor an Encounter, a season of LITE, a bursary place — not the foundation in the abstract.
Three days, twelve participants, four mentors. Venue, board, books, travel. Named at the course and in the year's report.
Eight monthly LITE evenings in Maastricht — speakers, the room, dinner afterwards. Named on the season's poster and the GLI site.
One full place on the Grotius Leadership Course for a participant who could not otherwise afford it. Named in memoriam or in honour, with the participant's consent.
The annual International Principled Leadership Conference. Two days, speakers from business and the academy. Named with the chair's introduction.
Sponsors are named where their work appears — on the course's printed programme, in the year's report, on the relevant project's page — and not elsewhere. We do not produce sponsor banners, sponsor-branded materials, or sponsor logos in our footer. Our marks and yours remain on their own pages.
Sponsorship is structured as a one-year commitment, renewable. We send a written line-by-line account of how the sponsored money was spent, signed by the treasurer, within four months of the line concluding.
Because Stichting Grotius is an ANBI, gifts from Dutch companies are deductible under the corporate giving rules (aftrek voor giften door vennootschappen). For other EU companies, deductibility depends on national rules.
Write to the chair of the board, in confidence. We will reply within two working days and propose a half-hour conversation — in Maastricht, in Amsterdam, or by video. From there we draft a short proposal in writing.
