Larno Visser

My name is Larno Visser and I am the Program director of the Grotius Education Program and Project Manager of the GLC(Grotius Leadership Course) and the CLE(Continued Leadership Education) program. I hold a masters degree in Innovation Management from the Eindhoven University of Technology (TU/e) and I am an entrepreneur with my own company that provides education, trainings and consultancy in AI. I am also an external expert teacher at Karel de Grote University of Applied Science in Antwerp where I teach the course AI in Practice. Finally, I am also a speaker on the ethics and human implications of artificial intelligence.

Why I joined Stichting Grotius

I joined Stichting Grotius after meeting the staff and attending several G-LiTE events. The atmosphere there felt warm and welcoming, yet also purposeful and ambitious. When I learned more about the goal of Stichting Grotius I knew it was something I wanted to contribute to. With my background in education the Grotius Leadership Course was the perfect match as a first project.

In the future

I see my work in Grotius primarily as a learning experience and would love to keep learning, while also helping to develop high level relevant and practical educational materials surrounding virtue-based leadership.
