My name is Jeffrey Mennen, and I hold both Dutch and American nationality. I’m based in ‘s-Hertogenbosch, where I’m finishing my degree in International Business at Avans, with a specialization in sales. Alongside my studies, I’ve worked in various software sales roles, which led me to co-found my own company providing sales as a service.
Travel has shaped much of my life. I spent several years in Montana in the United States and worked for a year in Madrid. Outside of work I play football and padel, and I’ve run several marathons.
Within Grotius, I serve as Finance Director on the Management Committee of the Grotius Leadership Institute, where I also co-manage one of our main projects, Grotius-LITE, together with Robin Maximus. I’m also a member of the Finance & Fundraising Committee of Stichting Grotius as a whole.
I co-founded Stichting Grotius at the start. I did this because I believe cultivating the virtues helps you become a better version of yourself, which in turn benefits society. Virtue is rarely discussed concretely in our studies or other institutions, yet there was clear interest whenever it came up among friends. I wanted to be part of the solution.
Looking ahead, I want to use my work with Grotius to make a positive impact, helping as many people as possible become the best version of themselves.
Formation that lasts a lifetime is only possible with those who make it possible.
Stichting Grotius is an ANBI-registered Dutch foundation. Every contribution is tax-deductible in the Netherlands.
