Ashour Kariakous

My name is Ashour Kariakous, and I am a Computer Science student at Maastricht University. I am from Belgium and have Assyrian roots. I enjoy fitness, web development, cybersecurity, and learning how technology can solve real-world problems.

At Grotius, I serve as a volunteer and Project Manager, helping organize events and initiatives that bring people together and promote leadership. This role has strengthened my teamwork, communication, and organizational skills.

I joined Grotius because I was inspired by its mission to develop principled leaders through virtue-based leadership. I believe that leadership is about serving others with integrity, responsibility, and respect.

In the future, I hope to build a career in cybersecurity and entrepreneurship while continuing to grow as a leader. My goal is to combine technical expertise with strong values to make a positive and lasting impact on others.
